Community Pantry

The Hive Pantry is a low-cost food club open to anyone who is struggling with the increasing cost of living.

Members pay £3 to join the club and then £4 each week for a basket of food.  The food comes from Fareshare South West, a regional charity which collects good food that is surplus to requirements or close to its use-by date, and distributes it to many different organisations, preventing the food from going to waste.  

The Pantry is open every Friday from 1.30 - 2.45pm. 

There is sometimes a short waiting list to join, but if you feel the Pantry would be helpful for you, please drop in when it is open or email Jill at community@thehivepsj.org to find out more.
