Community Fridge

Our community fridge is for everyone and anyone to use!

We have a wonderful team of volunteers who collect supermarket food for us that is past its best-before date but still good to eat. We are also grateful to all the local supermarkets who support us: Tesco, Sainsburys, Lidl’s, Co-op, Bookers, Waitrose, Marks and Spencers, and occasionally Nando’s.

The fridge and shelves are located just inside the main café area. Come and help yourself to some free food, and help us to save it from being sent to landfill! If you are on a gluten -free diet, we often have a stock of gluten-free items in the freezer, please ask at reception if you would like this.

There is a small donation pot for those who wish to support the work of the community fridge, this helps to pay for our community fridge co-ordinator and our expenses.
